Association of Iranian Confectionery Manufacturing Companies for the purpose of obtaining rights, privileges and legal advantages and benefits and also improving economic conditions of this industry that just itself is comprising safe-guarding interests of the society had been established in 08-May-1997.

At the same time, this association with more than 160 members of producers within the country, that from the viewpoint of number covers 70% of producing companies and from the viewpoint of capacity covers 90% of the country production has the proud of being the representative of this industry being at the service of mentioned companies exploits all of its effort in order to achieve the predefined goals.

At the beginning of establishing industry’s authorities felt a especial necessary about the establishment a cooperative that fortunately with so much effort and support of directorship and the respected associations members, the confectionery manufacturers cooperative, for the purpose of supplying the professional necessity members in the frame of general affairs and decreasing costs and expenses in 23-April-1998 registered that during this period by supplying services, goods and necessary facilities and also supervising on the method of raw material consumption which are received by members and using the appropriate methods could achieve great success in this field, as far as the other lines of activity of the association, we can name organization and operation of international and sectoral fairs in confectionery industry which has been being one of the best annual fairs in Iran, apart from this a legality team presenting expertise and legality services to the respected members and organizing expertise committees for the purpose of editing and training in utilization of international standards and modification of the customs tax and duty rates of relating materials and also a training department to improve management level in member companies are the other parts which are under-coverage of this association, additionally, the association has already decided to publish a sectoral monthly bulletin to comply the know-how of the members and give them the most up-to-date information about the related sector in addition to the website.
